Toyota Vios is discounted to the same price as a Class A car, competing against City and Accent

(Dan Tri) – After applying all promotions, the highest version of Toyota Vios is cheaper than Hyundai Accent.

Received a discount of 21-47 million VND from Toyota Vietnam in early March, but in April, Vios continued to receive incentives at dealers.

At a dealership, a sales consultant said that the manual version of the Vios (E MT) was reduced to 445 million VND, or 13 million VND less than the listed price;

This is considered a record low price for Vios.

In addition to Vios, other products in the B-class sedan segment also have promotions in April.

Nissan Almera is given 50% registration fee for both versions.

Toyota Vios is continuously discounted by manufacturers and dealers in the context of the car losing ground in the B-class sedan segment. In 2023, this model handed the number 1 position to Hyundai Accent when selling a total of 13,521 cars, while its Korean rival

In 2024, Vios continues to `slip` when it can only be in 3rd place in the first quarter, behind Honda City and Hyundai Accent.

Experts say that Vios’s reduced appeal compared to before is due to its design.
