(Dan Tri) – The US-based Institute for the Study of War (ISW) said that the Russian army may be moving its airborne divisions from the Zaporizhia region to the east.

According to data analyzed by experts at ISW, the Russian army may be moving units of the 76th and 7th Airborne Divisions from the Zaporizhia region to eastern Ukraine.
However, ISW has yet to find confirmation that units attached to the 76th and 7th Airborne Divisions have been redeployed in other directions, although Russian and Ukrainian reports are critical, and any redeployment
The report notes that any redeployment of these units would give Russian forces the opportunity to increase their offensive operations and apply increased pressure on Ukrainian forces, regardless of their location.
ISW did not make an assessment on which areas are most likely to see the redeployment of Russia’s most elite forces, if any.
ISW will continue to monitor reports of the redeployment of the 76th and 7th Airborne Divisions, as this poses a significant risk to Ukraine in slowing Russia’s ongoing offensive in the east during

Eighth, Russian authorities reportedly continue to recruit convicted criminals to fight in Ukraine.
