SUVs imported from Europe offer 100% registration fee, stirring up the price reduction race 1
(Dan Tri) – While Skoda gives away 50-100% of the registration fee, equivalent to a discount of 60-130 million VND, some Mercedes or BMW car models receive direct discounts of hundreds of millions of VND.
The quietness of the car market in the first months of the year forced companies to launch incentives to attract customers.

Similar to the stimulus policy previously launched by the Government to promote `domestic` cars, Skoda is the brand that initiated registration fee incentives.
During difficult periods of the car market, the Government has several times launched a policy to reduce registration fees by 50%, but only applied to domestically produced and assembled cars.
Skoda’s SUV duo is still on the journey to convince Vietnamese customers, after their official launch in September 2023.

With a 100% registration reduction, the starting version of the Karoq will cost the same as the high-end versions of the above rival models.
Meanwhile, Skoda Kodiaq will have to `fight` with Kia Sorento (VND 1,069-1,604 billion), Hyundai Santa Fe (VND 1,029-1,369 billion) or Ford Everest (VND 1,099-1,499 billion)… The price difference between models

In addition to Skoda, in the European car group, luxury brands such as Mercedes and BMW also run incentives.

Sedan lines such as C 200 Avantgarde (V1), C 200 Ava Plus (V1), E 180 (V1), E 300 AMG (V1) or E 200 Exclusive (V1) are also on the list of incentives.
With BMW, the 320i line is reduced by 100-300 million VND depending on the version.
Another European car brand, Volkswagen, also runs promotions.
