The heat of protests in many big cities
According to AP, the protest movement in the US was organized to demand the rights of people of color after George Floyd died on May 25 after a white police officer knelt on his neck in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Many cities in the United States continued to experience the night of May 30 with riots and conflicts between protesters and police.

In Los Angeles, police fired rubber bullets to suppress an angry crowd that set fire to law enforcement vehicles.
Minneapolis experienced its fifth night of protests against what participants called systematic mistreatment by law enforcement.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz mobilized additional national guardsmen on May 30 and warned they would suppress those participating in the violence.

All highways leading to Minneapolis were blocked last night, with military helicopters flying overhead controlling acts of vandalism.
The governors of Georgia, Kentucky, Ohio and Texas also mobilized the National Guard after protests turned violent at night and protesters disobeyed curfew orders.

Large-scale protests taking place in American cities in recent days are causing local officials deep concern and sparking fear that huge crowds will spread the Covid-19 pathogen, sparking an outbreak.
Officials have called on protesters to calm down, express their opinions peacefully, wear masks when gathering in large numbers, and warned that they are in danger because they protest while the epidemic is still complicated.
Minnesota officials warned on May 30 that too many protesters did not practice social distancing or wear masks when going to the crowd.
