(Dan Tri) – Due to shortage of goods, Yamaha PG-1 has a price difference at some dealers, both genuine and private.
Launched to Vietnamese customers in early December, the Yamaha PG-1 is creating a `fever` in the two-wheeled market thanks to its price of 31 million VND (including 10% VAT).
If you buy PG-1 this December, in theory customers will enjoy a price including 8% VAT of 30.44 million VND.

But in reality, many agents quote customers a price with 10% VAT of 31 million VND, which means users will have to spend nearly 600,000 VND more.
Refer to some dealers in Hanoi, most of them apply the price of 31 million VND, but PG-1 buyers will have to wait until February 2024 to receive the car.

Yamaha PG-1 encountered a shortage of goods immediately after its launch.
In addition to the fact that the number of vehicles shipped cannot keep up with the needs of Vietnamese customers, another factor that can be considered a secondary factor leading to the phenomenon of PG-1’s shortage is the `speculation` of motorbike dealers.
According to the reporter’s research, these establishments quickly ordered large quantities right on the launch day.
The Yamaha PG-1’s equipment is not impressive.
After receiving the first batch of cars, dealers began to `inflate prices`.
The manufacturer positions the Yamaha PG-1 as a product aimed at young people (Gen Z), but in reality, users over the age of 30 are also interested in this model.
