(Dan Tri) – Immediately after the wedding on October 26, Japanese Princess Mako and her newlywed husband Kei Komuro held a press conference to talk about their feelings.

According to Yahoo News, the press conference took place at a hotel in Tokyo, Japan at 2:00 p.m. local time this afternoon.
Princess Mako said she was extremely heartbroken, stressed and scared because of the `inaccurate news` about her partner Komuro.
`I know there are many ways of looking at our marriage. I’m sorry for causing trouble. For us, marriage is a necessary choice to live while still cherishing our hearts,` Mako said.

Mako said she has tried her best to fulfill her duties as a royal member, and expressed her sincere gratitude to those who have supported and helped her over the past 30 years.

The Japanese Imperial Household Agency filed legal procedures to register their marriage on behalf of Princess Mako and Kei Komuro.
After her wedding with her commoner boyfriend Komuro, Ms. Mako, 30 years old, took the name Mako Komuro and had to give up her royal title according to Japanese law.
Mako and Komuro’s marriage received support from the Japanese royal family and public four years ago when they first announced their wedding plans.
At the press conference this afternoon, Komuto said he truly loves Mako and promised to support and protect her.
Public opinion polls show that the Japanese public has mixed opinions about Princess Mako’s marriage.
