(Dan Tri) – Many Iranians are confused by the possibility of Israel attacking in retaliation for Tehran firing UAVs and missiles at targets in Israel over the weekend.

According to Reuters, the prospect of Israel retaliating against Tehran for its drone and missile attack over the weekend has made many Iranians worried.
Iran’s political and military leaders have repeatedly warned that they will respond to any Israeli retaliation by escalating tensions further.
It is a very negative scenario for ordinary Iranians, said teacher Hesam, 45, from Amol city.
`Economic pressure will increase, our safety will be threatened… We must avoid conflict at all costs. I don’t want war. How can I protect my two children
Housewife Parvaneh also worries that Israel’s attack could be a strong blow to Iran, which is facing difficulties after years of economic embargo by the West.
`We Iranians have suffered too much. War only brings disaster,` the 37-year-old mother of two said in the central city of Yazd.
Middle- and low-income Iranians are facing economic difficulties due to a series of Western sanctions.
In Iran, Tehran’s attack last weekend brought both pride and anxiety.
Hossein Sabahi, 30, a government employee in the city of Tabriz, told Reuters: `I am very proud of the attacks on Israel. Israel was the one who started it first. We have to respond.`
Iran announced the attack over the weekend in retaliation for accusing Israel of attacking Tehran’s diplomatic facility in Syria on April 1, killing many high-ranking Iranian military officials.
After the attack, Iranian state television posted videos recording images of marches in several cities in support of Tehran’s large-scale raid.
In recent days, the Israeli war cabinet has met to discuss the timing and scope of response to Iran’s attack.
According to the Times of Israel, Channel 12 reported several options were discussed, each of which would be a `painful` response strike against Iran, but would not lead to a regional war.
Channel 12 said that the Israeli war cabinet is also aiming to choose a response that is not blocked by the United States.
Meanwhile, many countries have warned Israel against escalating the situation further with military measures.
On the other hand, Tehran vowed to respond `within seconds` if Israel decides to launch any form of attack against Iran.
