Like some world leaders, Chinese President Xi Jinping, when on business trips abroad, is often transported by bulletproof armored supercar.
N701 was introduced in China in July 2022 during Mr. Xi’s visit to Hong Kong.
Chinese media said that the N701 is equipped with a domestic V8 or V12 engine and has protective armor as well as bulletproof glass doors.
Daily Mail said the N701 supercar can withstand impacts from small bombs and has a system to protect VIPs sitting inside against the threat of chemical and biological attacks.
Previously, Mr. Xi Jinping used previous models of the N701 such as Hong Ky L5, L9 and N501.
In terms of design, the N701 stands out from other Hong Ky models.

According to site CarNewsChina, China is expected to produce only 50 N701s in the next 10 years.
The Hong Ky brand belongs to First Auto Works, a large Chinese enterprise that produces millions of cars, trucks, buses and other personal and commercial vehicles each year.
The Hong Ky N701 was Mr. Xi’s means of transportation during his visits to Russia and the US this year.
When Mr. Xi came to the US in November, President Joe Biden observed this supercar at the time the two leaders met.
